Wir sind seit kurzem ein Kampeermeneer-Campingplatz! Sehr cool, wir wurden vom Manager angesprochen. Im vergangenen Sommer erhielt er von mehreren Lesern den Tipp, dass Kilefjorden Camping tatsächlich ein Kampeermeneer-Campingplatz sei und eigentlich in den Online-Campingführer gehöre. Und das ist etwas ganz Besonderes, denn der Leiter sagt, er sei recht wählerisch, welche Campingplätze geeignet seien und welche nicht. Er schaute sich unsere Website an und von dem, was er dort las und sah, dachte er, dass sie gut passt, und er wollte Kilefjorden Camping zur Übersicht der Naturcampingplätze in Norwegen hinzufügen (wurde dieses Jahr als Land hinzugefügt). Einer der Blogger von Kampeermeneer war letztes Jahr auf unserem Campingplatz und war total begeistert. Sie hat die meisten Informationen zu unserem Campingplatz geschrieben, daher ist es toll, die Erfahrungen anderer mit dem Campingplatz zu lesen!
Wir werden regelmäßig gefragt, ob wir Tipps für ähnliche Campingplätze in Norwegen haben.

I am looking for a 2nd hand to run Kilefjorden Camping coming season (4-5 months from May-Sep fulltime (5 days/week 8 hrs/day)
Kilefjorden Camping is situated at a magical place along the river Otra in the South of Norway. It is a nature camping with ca 50-60 places where guests can freely choose how, where and for how long they park. We also have 13 cabins in varying sizes which are playfully spread across the campsite. Many guests start and/or finish their roundtrip in Norway at our camping and decide to stay longer because they find nature and peace on a camping run with love. Our guests appreciate the special atmosphere here which is hard to describe, you need to experience it yourself!
In the past 3 years the camping has been gradually growing with new facilities like guest kitchen, dishwash places, gapahuk, sauna & hottub, baking breads, organizing RIB boat trips, kids craft workshop, and also more guests. Now it is unimaginable that in the first season Nita and I did all the work only with 2 persons. The past 2 seasons the team was expanded with paid employees and volunteers.
Since Nita decided to go back to NL, I am looking for a new person who wants to work fulltime on the camping in the period May-Sep.
Diverse task package: cleaning sanitary facilities/cabins/guest kitchen/garbage, registering guests, providing guests with information what to do, kiosk sales, baking bread, wood refill for sauna/hot tub, small repairs, etc.
Experience with camping work is not necessary.
I am looking for you if you are…. eager to learn, service-minded, have eye for the customer (able to see who needs what), trustable, respectful, flexible, pro-active, see what is needed to do, handle hectic periods, speak English and preferably also NL/D/NO, can work in teams and alone, feel excitement and energy for the camping and the guests, hardworking, have the willingness to do just that little bit more ?
What the camping can offer you: Paid job, if wanted food/accommodation (apartment above kiosk) can be offered, nice natural surroundings, diverse tasks, customer contact, nice colleagues, unique experience, opportunity to use camping facilities (eg sauna) and adventures, opportunity to use all your talents and bring in new ideas for the camping, long long evenings in the summertime in Norway (hardly getting dark).
